Since 1997, he has been dedicated to the Communication and Education of Ocean Sciences in Portugal. He has a degree in Marine Ecology. She produced teaching materials in the area of Ocean Literacy and worked as a scientific-pedagogical coordinator in Science Centers and at the University of the Azores. It intertwines several areas of knowledge in the field of Childhood. She is on the board of the Portuguese Environmental Education Association and is a collaborating member of the Interdisciplinary Center for Children and Adolescents at the University of the Azores. He is currently developing his project Living with the Ocean® and dedicating himself to his Dissertation in Philosophy for Children, entitled Oceans-on®: Thinking the Philosophy of Childhood in the Literacy of the Ocean.
