Professor of Philosophy, Master in Philosophy of Education, postgraduate in Modern and Contemporary Philosophy, is developing a Master's thesis in Philosophy for Children at the University of the Azores.

Author and promoter of the project “Philosophy with Cinema for Children” (FcCpC), distinguished with the seal “Escola Amiga da Criança” and accredited trainer of teachers in the area of FcCpC.

She coordinates the National Cinema Plan of the Secondary School of Amarante, is Vice-President of the Cineclube de Amarante and a member of the Municipal Education Council.

In Cannes, she carried out the training “A Cannes, faites votre cinéma dans la classe”, within the scope of the Erasmus + program.

Speaker at several Film Festivals and Education Congresses, she was part of the Jury of the International Long Film Competition, Serra da Estrela International Environmental Film Festival, CineEco, (2019); the School Video Festival, Encontros de Cinema de Viana (2018), the pre-selection jury of the International Animation Film Festival, Cinanima, Espinho, (2017); Cineclubes jury, “PrimeirOlhar” Award (Encontros de Cinema de Viana, 2016), Fafe Film Fest (2014-2016).

She is the curator of the traveling group exhibition entitled “From screen to screen,  Cineviagens”  inspired by 44 animated films and has dozens of articles published in the field of Philosophy, Film and Education.
