Magda Costa Carvalho

She has a degree and a PhD in Philosophy and works as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences of the University of the Azores. She is Director of the Master's in Philosophy for Children, Vice-Director of NICA-UAc: Interdisciplinary Center for Children and Adolescents, at the University of the Azores and President of the Ethics Committee of that University.

Her main areas of research are Philosophy for Children and Environmental Philosophy, with several national and international publications. She holds a degree in Philosophy for Children from SAPERE (United Kingdom).
